I took William Stephen's Course on Title Abstracting online, and I found the course to be very easy to understand and the book a great tool in the field. After the online course I began my work in the courthouse and I found that I had many questions and things were more complicated than I expected. I began to call Mr. Stephens with questions and I found him to be very helpful. He was extremely easy to get in touch with, and could understand my problem and explain to me what was going on without even being there. He has gotten me through some difficult jobs and even took the time to help me when he was busy with something else. He has a vast knowledge of title abstracting and his past experience shows in his work. He is an excellent teacher. I don't know how I would've made it through with out his help as I have learned a great deal from him. I would recommend taking his online course and if I had to do it over again I would have taken the "hands on" course where he actually goes with you to the courthouse and teaches you right there. Mr. Stephen is genuinely interested in his students succeeding in their venture in the field of Title Abstracting. It is obvious that he really cares about what he is doing and it shows.

I should have done more thorough research in finding a course to take before loosing money to other sites that are not even in the same ballpark as yours. Thank you for creating a step by step program for your abstracting course. I have no experience regarding real estate (none what so ever) and I felt like I received an education after your course. The DVD was so valuable as I was able to go to the court house with you and follow your lead. Even though each court house is different it gave me the guidelines of where to go and what to ask for. In the beginning, the information and initial court house experience was a bit overwhelming, but I am glad I was patient enough to do the research and to figure things out.
Taking things one step at a time has made all the difference. Thank you for being so available to take my calls and answer all my questions. I felt like my questions were never ending, but you helped with every one of them. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! :) :) For anyone taking this course, take it one step at a time. If you find yourself overwhelmed leave the courthouse and call Mr. Stephens !

Not only am I finding each visit to the courthouse easier, but I am actually becoming faster with each visit. William Stephens' course is the answer to my prayers! I sought a new career within the title business as an abstractor about six years ago. At the time, I had no idea I would run into so much difficulty in becoming a title abstractor.
